Bird Color Sheets - Free Printables
Many Many years ago we had parakeets. We had asked for either two girls or two boys when we got them. Well to our surprise we found eggs one day in their cage. With the help of our vet and many other experts in aviary care they had four baby birds, two of the eggs never hatched.
It was something we never expected, to have baby birds, but they were so much fun! We had them for a LONG time, the last one passed away about a year ago. We have some images below of them.

In the images we have the 6 eggs before 4 hatched, Next Stampy’s baby face, next Mom and Dad (Abby and Pilot), then Mickey, getting his big boy feathers, after that we have the four babies with all their feathers, eating on their own, living a great life :) Their names from left to right Sila, Mickey, Stampy, and Squid, Then its a close up of Squid and Stampy, and lastly my little ladybug and Squid.
A little bit about their personalities: Squid was the friendlies, she loved to sit on my daughters shoulder. She always stayed super small, but the vet said all the babies were in great health. Mickey would let you kiss her and hold her, but she was a biter. Stampy was friendly, didn’t really bite, but not big on us holding him, he liked to play a lot. Sila, she was the fluffiest, she was one that I think loved to be held and get kisses, but acted offended when you did hold or kiss her, she would stare at you when you gave another birdy attention. The parents were never the friendliest, we tried, but they never liked being held, so we respected that. Abby was more friendly than Pilot, but neither a big fan of cuddles. They all would let you hold treats and feed them :) They were a HUGE blessing in our lives, I will always be glad they were part of our family!
